This page is for projects that I have started, but for various reasons, never got around to finishing. This is usually because other projects caught my eye, and I just had to set these aside and go with the new idea! Unless noted, there is nothing wrong with any of these unfinished projects, I just have a bad habit of jumping from one project to the next. In an effort to control this, if I start a project I like I take it to the laser ingravers and have a serial number burnt into it. Once that is done, I am commited, and you can find that body blank, or unfinished guitar over on the "available guitars" page.
These guitars are all available, and a build can be started from them at any time by request.
Now that I have a shiny new page to showcase them, I will make some more to put up here soon.

| Single cut Karlin
Wormy Sycamore This body blank is a one piece from some cool looking sycamore with worm holes all through it. When finished it will be slightly thinner than a standard Karlin, as the wood was close to thickness before I began planing it. Should make a cool guitar No upcharge |

| Estrella
Hackberry This one was going to be built along side a karlin made from the same board. That one can be found in available guitars. This one came out with a few worm holes, and other "character", so I decided to hold off on building it. If you are into that sort of thing, here you go! No upcharge! |

African Mahogony. Every once in a while I actually have people ask me if I can build a heavy guitar. Sounds crazy, right? Well I have already built one, out of this same wood, and it sounds amazing! If dense and resonant is your thing, and you don't mind a bit of extra weight, Here you go! No upcharge! |

| "DB"
birdseye maple and mahogony Heres an entire guitar for ya! This is a neck thru guitar I started, but put aside because of a couple of small cosmetic issues. It should make a fine guitar, and if nobody claims it, maybe I will complete it and keep it for myself! $1400 |

| Neck
Maple and purple heart This neck is big enough so that it can be used for either a bass, or cut down to use on a Karlin. Should be a pretty bright sounding neck, maybe pair it with a mahogony body to tame it a bit? No upcharge! Sorry, this piece is now CLAIMED |

| Karlin (old style)
Ribbon mahogony This is a body blank Ive had around since the beginning! I started to make it, but just like everything else, got side tracked and forgot about it! It is the shape of the very first Karlin! I may reshape the horns a bit and see what happens! No upcharge |

Cocobolo top, ash back This was an Idea I was throwing around a while back, and put it aside to think more on its construction. It is heavily chambered, with a 1/4" Cocobolo top. I know it looks rough in the picture, but it should clean up well. $100 upcharge |
