This is the Karlin Bass.
This bass is designed after my Standard guitar model, the JG Karlin. But aside from a few basic design elements, this bass is its own design. These bases will start at $1400 for a standard 4 string version with basic body woods, and other standard features.
It comes standard with a bolt on Neck. (six bolts, just cuz I said so.) I could probably get away with four, but This is one stable neck attachment! It just feels solid! This in turn contributes to the incredible tone that this bass generates. Balance is absolutely perfect, on a strap, or in the lap. I make them at the standard 34" scale, but a longer scale bass is in the works. ( it will be another design ) I don't do shorter scales, but This guy does. And he does them well!
