This is the JG Karlin

This guitar was inspired by a friend, And former band member. Early in 2008 he was involved in an accident. (he is recovering, and getting better every day!) I built the first jg-4 as a guitar to be auctioned off at a fundraiser, to help sway medical costs. Unfortunately, It wasn't quite ready for the fundraiser, so I put it up for sale. A couple of weeks later, he expressed an interest in it and I just gave it to him. I built it to help him, and in some way, it did.
I really liked the way the guitar came out, and after building several other guitars, of different styles, I decided that this one was the one. This is the design I turn to, when I want a guitar that can do it all. Comfortable, with the back carved in a way that makes it actually lean into you while playing. Versatile, It has two Hand wound humbuckers, that have a wiring setup that allows for many different tones. A coil split for both pickups, two tone knobs, with different sounds for blending, and all in a very simple, easy to operate setup.
The design has evolved over the last couple of years, from the one you see at the top of the screen jg4-02-09 (this is the second one, My personal guitar. My friend has the first.) to this style you see here.

Notice the longer upper horn. This being the main design refinement. Now this guitar balances with the best of them.
